Winter play

Our mornings this month were spend exploring winter. In the water section, the children explored floating and sinking, used magnets and played with coloured ice! In small world the children built artic scenes with animals and made dens and caves for the animals. We created 3D snow families in playdoh and everyone had fun in our hot chocolate role play area! 
We had lots of talk about winter and wrote about penguins in Antarctica!
