St. Brigid's Day 1st February 2025
We are very excited to welcome the spring here at St. Helen's Junior School, heralded by St. Brigid's special feast day. At assembly, the children listened to the stories about the life of St. Brigid. Some children from Room 6 showed everyone the St. Brigid's Day crosses they had made in class and the beautiful art work they did based on her the story of her cloak. The children from Room 12 read the story to all the children. We rounded off assembly by singing a school favourite of ours, the beautiful "We Sing a Song to Brigid". We left assembly excited for new daffodils, baby lambs and brighter days to come!
