Neurodiversity Week
This week we were celebrating Neurodiversity week in St. Helen’s Junior School.
The children really enjoyed learning about our brains and celebrating the different types of brains.
Our week ended with a whole school assembly where lots of children spoke about autism, ADHD and the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices used for communication.
We also presented a €1000 cheque to NF Ireland from our €2 contributions @ Halloween.
Our assembly ended in song with Will.i.am and the song “What I am”
