Ms.Natin organised a really lovely assembly for the children to mark Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. Children from first class told us about Lent and they suggested ways we could show love to each other and to God.
Today is a very special day for all the Irish Girl Guides, Brownies and Ladybirds around the world. Grace Cullen, from Room 16, explained to all the children why 22nd February, World Thinking Day is very important to them when they all give thanks for friendships!
We finished by hearing about the story of Zaccheus and how Jesus showed love to him when no one else would, and that he became a kind and humble man.
