Internet Safety Day
We're very lucky that we have such wide access to the internet here in Ireland. It allows us to lots of things that have become part of our normal lives. We use it to find information, watch videos and films, play games, do shopping, chat with friends and family and lots more! The internet is amazing. February 8th is a day for everyone to think about how we can use the internet safely. For second class, that meant thinking about stranger danger online, remembering that not all content online is suitable for children and that if you ever feel unsure you should ask a grown up. Ms Kane shared some resources with us that shared some top tips for staying safe while using the internet. We then designed posters to share these tips with other children. We'd like to share our designs with you below. Special congratulations to Rashid and Tess for winning the poster competition in our class!
