Grandparents Day

We had a very special time together in Rm 16 with our grandparents, showing them our classroom and all our beautiful work.

We prayed for all our grandparents especially remembering those who couldn’t be with us and particularly our dearly departed grandparents.

It was a pleasure to listen to the grandparents tell stories of when they were young.The children listened in awe of how times have changed and how their school experiences are very different.

We sang Molly Malone, a great favourite and a song that brings back many memories to all our grandparents.

Afterwards the grandparents enjoyed afternoon tea in the hall with a special blessing from Fr. John.
