Engineers Week 2024
This week in school we celebrated Engineers Week organised by Engineers Ireland. We learned that there are many different types of engineers that help solve problems in the world. Each day in school we heard from our Engineers of the Day. Lots of our parents are engineers and they told us all about what it was like to be an engineer. Thanks to all our parents who completed engineer interview forms. We also listened to some stories and read books about being an engineer. The children loved the books from the "If I Built a ..." series by Chris Van Dusen. In class the children engaged in some STEM activities and had lots of fun building and experimenting.
