Art Inspired by History - Written by Aaron, Bobby and Clodagh

In art this week we were practicing drawing. We had a choice between drawing Gráinne Mhaol or designing a Greek vase.

We learned about Greek gods and mythology. We put patterns at the top and bottom of our vases. We drew different types of monsters like the cyclops, Medusa, Cerberus, and other mythological creatures and people like Zeus, the Titans and Pegasus.

People who chose to draw Gráinne Mhaol drew ships, and fierce battles at sea.
